Today, Cato Networks has been honored by CRN with a 5-Star Award in the 2025 CRN Partner Program Guide. This annual guide is an essential resource for solution providers seeking vendor partner programs that match their business goals and deliver high partner value. This is the first time Cato has received a 5-star rating for our global partner program and that’s because we empower our partners to deliver a best-in-class SASE platform to customers.

The extensive support and resources technology vendors offer through their partner programs are a critical consideration for solution providers assessing which IT vendors, service providers, and distributors to team with in building world-class technology solutions. Program elements such as financial incentives, sales and marketing assistance, training and certification, technical support and more can set vendors apart and play a key role in boosting their partners’ long-term growth and profitability.

The 5-Star Award is an elite recognition given to companies that have built their partner programs on the key elements needed to nurture lasting, profitable, and successful channel partnerships.

Cato MSASE: A Game-Changer for Partners

While we’re known for our product innovation, we’re also driving innovation for partners—particularly with managed SASE.

For years, channel partners have struggled to profit from managed SASE services due to complex, disjointed solutions. Most offerings labeled “SASE” consist of multiple point solutions marketed as a single platform by portfolio vendors. What these portfolio vendors are offering is a commercial platform, not a true platform as they require partners to stock, integrate, and train on different technologies at significant cost. When issues arise, partners often lack the visibility and knowledge to troubleshoot the problems themselves, which adds operational friction. The effort and complexity leave little room for partners to focus on delivering great customer service.

The Cato Managed SASE (MSASE) Partner Platform, which we introduced in June 2024, allows partners to focus on delivering great customer service. With Cato MSASE, channel partners deliver managed SASE services powered by the Cato SASE Cloud Platform. Not only that, but they gain vendor-level capabilities through Cato’s centralized multi-tenant partner dashboard for complete lifecycle management from planning to production. Partners gain full control over policies, troubleshooting, and service optimization without vendor bottlenecks. With Cato MSASE, channel partners can now profitably scale managed SASE services while delivering a superior experience for their customers.

Cato Partner Program: A Path Forward

I joined Cato in February 2025. In my first 45 days as global channel chief, I’ve been meeting with partners and gathering feedback. What’s clear to me in those conversations is that Cato truly understands the value of the partner community. Partners want to work with us because we are partner-first and we have a best-in-class SASE platform.

That’s a great foundation to build on. We plan is to take that foundation and scale it further. Our objectives in 2025 are to enhance our go-to-market strategy, work closely with our channel team, and give partners a lot of opportunities to grow and succeed with Cato.
