Secure API Access with Complete Audit Trail
Ensuring secure API access is critical to protecting sensitive data and configuration changes within your Cato account. All access to a specific account via Cato’s API is secured with an access token that only administrators can generate through the Cato Management Application. Multiple tokens can be created allowing the ability to restrict usage to specific, authorized source IP addresses. Any configuration changes made using the API are included in Cato’s comprehensive audit trail, indicating the access token that was used and what changes were made.
API Playground for Development and Testing
Cato’s GraphQL playground provides a synthetic environment to test and validate code before production use. Customers can connect the playground to their account with an API key to test and refine queries for specific data extraction. Cato’s API playground can be used as a learning asset, or troubleshooting and testing tool, and helps reduce the risk of bug as well as integration and development time.
