Cato Networks to Address the Rising Threat of AI-Targeted Attacks at InfoSec World 2025
Cato CTRL to expose how threat actors are exploiting AI tools
TEL AVIV, Israel, October 20, 2025 – Cato Networks, the SASE leader, today announced that Etay Maor (chief security strategist at Cato Networks and member of Cato CTRL) and Danna Pelleg (MDR manager at Cato Networks and member of Cato CTRL) will present at InfoSec World 2025 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The session, “Humans Are Not the Weakest Link. Guess Who fAIls?” (Monday, October 27 at 9:30 AM ET), will uncover how AI systems are now exhibiting the same flaws that once plagued human operators—only at scale and with greater potential impact. The audience will gain a deep understanding of the shared vulnerabilities between humans and AI systems, the tactics that threat actors are using to manipulate or subvert enterprise AI, and the critical steps that security leaders must take before rolling out AI solutions.
“For years, we’ve built our security programs around mitigating human error. However, the same weaknesses we once attributed to people are showing up in AI systems,” said Etay Maor, chief security strategist at Cato Networks and member of Cato CTRL. “Threat actors are adapting faster than enterprises are securing their models, and that should concern every organization deploying AI today.”
“AI doesn’t eliminate human mistakes, it scales them,” said Danna Pelleg, MDR manager at Cato Networks and member of Cato CTRL. “Before enterprises rush to adopt AI-based solutions, they need to understand that trust, transparency, and controls are just as critical for machines as they are for people. The future of cybersecurity depends on learning from our past.”
