This past year was a defining one for all of us at Cato Networks and for the industry at large. The enterprise networking and security market is undergoing a seismic shift—one that we have long anticipated. The days of fragmented, bolt-on security solutions are over. The market has spoken, and it’s clear: enterprises demand a single, converged platform to securely connect their operations everywhere. Cato is delivering exactly that.

Our results prove it. We surpassed $250 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), growing 46% in 2024, far faster than the expected market growth. Gartner® estimates the market for SASE will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 26.0% over five years, reaching $28.5 billion by 2028.1 We believe we have the highest ARR growth at scale in the SASE and network security categories.

Gartner also predicted “by 2028, 50% of new SASE deployments will be based on a single-vendor SASE platform offering, up from 25% in 2024.” 1 Today, more than 3,000 enterprises now rely on Cato’s single-vendor SASE platform, the Cato SASE Cloud Platform, to power their secure digital transformation.

Breaking Free from Legacy Constraints

Traditional enterprise networking and security were never designed for the agility and scale of the cloud-first world. Legacy vendors have spent years stitching together disparate technologies, wrapping them into a bundle in a process often called platformization. But platformization is just a repackaging of point solutions that remain functionally disconnected. Cato is taking a different approach by delivering a platform where all capabilities—today and in the future—are seamlessly converged into a single, cloud-native architecture and built on a common data model. Our platform eliminates the inefficiencies of fragmented technologies, empowering enterprises with unparalleled simplicity, visibility, and control. This is why, head-to-head, seven out of every 10 customers are choosing our SASE platform over a SASE portfolio from legacy vendors.

Key Highlights from 2024

Cato’s momentum is a testament to our vision and relentless innovation. Some of the milestones that shaped this past year:

  • Industry Recognition: We were named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Single-Vendor SASE, a milestone that validates our SASE approach.
  • 2024 Forbes Cloud 100 Debut: Cato was ranked among the top 100 private cloud companies globally, highlighting our influence in the market.
  • Board Expansion: We welcomed industry veterans Eyal Waldman and Gili Iohan to our Board of Directors, strengthening our leadership for the next phase of growth.
  • Security Leadership: I was honored to be named Security Executive of the Year by SC Media, and Cato was recognized on the 2025 Fortune Cyber 60 list for a second consecutive year.
  • Global Growth: We opened a new global headquarters in Tel Aviv and an R&D center in Prague, reinforcing our commitment to innovation.

The Market Is Happening Now—And We’re Ready

2025 marks Cato’s 10-year anniversary. A decade ago, we envisioned a world where networking and security would converge in the cloud. That vision has become a reality, and the market is accelerating faster than ever. CIOs and IT leaders no longer have to choose between security and agility, simplicity, and control. With Cato, they can have it all.

We are at the tipping point. The world is moving to SASE, and Cato is leading the way. If this past year was a year of transformation, 2025 will be the year enterprises fully embrace the future of networking and security.

Thank you to our customers, partners, and the incredible Cato team for making this journey possible. The best is yet to come.
