“Kramer’s track record and the growing popularity of cloud-based security services gives Cato a seat in a hot market. The company serves up traditional security platforms – next-generation firewalling, URL filtering, application control, and VPN access – in its cloud. Its willingness to license its technology to other service providers opens up a potentially large and steady revenue stream.”Tim Greene, Network World

It’s an exciting time at Cato Networks. We came out of stealth mode just a few months ago, introduced our channel partner program and are transforming the way the market approaches network security. Being named to Network World’s list of “hot security start-ups to watch” provides a big boost of confidence at this critical time in the company and shows that the market is getting ready to replace perimeter firewalls with network security as a service (NSaaS).

Cato has a simple vision: a network with built-in security delivered as a cloud service at an affordable price. The sun is setting on network security appliances: they simply carry too much cost and complexity for most enterprises to keep up with. You’ll soon have a better way. We hope that like Network World and Tim Greene, you will keep an eye on us.
