Anner Klein
Research Engineer
Anner is a researcher at Cato Networks and part of the Cato CTRL team, where he contributes to advancing Cato’s detection capabilities. Before joining Cato in 2025, Anner served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as a Red Team Lead, where he carried out offensive operations, led red team–driven research, and performed application security assessments. With more than five years of experience in the field, he brings a blend of offensive and defensive perspectives to close the gap between security research and real-world detection.
