Security Research Engineer

Tomer is a Security Research Engineer at Cato Networks and a member of Cato CTRL, the company's elite threat research team. His work focuses on threat hunting, malware analysis, adversary research, and detection engineering, helping organizations detect and defend against sophisticated cyber threats. Prior to joining Cato Networks, Tomer served in the Israeli Defense Forces' elite Unit 8200, where he was involved in advanced cyber operations. He later led large-scale global cybersecurity initiatives at UBS. He specializes in adversary analysis, malware research, and investigating complex threat campaigns.
