The latest recognition of Cato Networks in the 2025 GigaOm Radar Report for Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is just the newest example of our continued excellence in secure networking. Cato was named a Leader and Outperformer for a second consecutive year.

Recently, Cato has been recognized for its innovation and leadership in AI-driven security, overall security efficacy, and SD-WAN by Frost & Sullivan and GigaOm.

Frost & Sullivan Recognizes Cato for AI-Driven Security Leadership

Frost & Sullivan honored Cato with the 2024 Enabling Technology Leadership Award, recognizing the company’s pioneering work in AI-driven security. The report commended Cato’s visionary approach to integrating AI and machine learning (ML) into the Cato SASE Cloud Platform to enhance threat detection, data protection, and network optimization.

Some standout capabilities in the 2024 Enabling Technology Leadership Award include:

  • AI-Driven Threat Detection and Response: Cato XDR leverages large language models (LLMs) to provide human-readable threat intelligence assessments, offering visibility few competitors can match.
  • Data Protection with AI: AI/ML-powered Cato DLP and Cato CASB ensure real-time data classification and policy enforcement.
  • AI-Optimized SD-WAN: Cato continuously analyzes network traffic to enhance performance and security dynamically.

According to Frost & Sullivan, Cato’s integration of AI-driven security and networking “differentiates the company’s entire cybersecurity platform” and provides enterprises with a future-proof solution for securing and optimizing their IT environments.

Additionally, Frost & Sullivan completed a thorough, independent security efficacy test that showed how Cato delivered near perfect protection against modern advanced threats.

GigaOm Recognizes Cato as a Leader and Outperformer in SD-WAN

Building on its strong position in SASE, Cato was named a Leader and Outperformer in the 2024 GigaOm Radar Report for SD-WAN Solutions for a second consecutive year. This recognition underscores Cato’s ability to deliver best-in-class SD-WAN capabilities, while integrating comprehensive security into its cloud-native architecture.

Key highlights from the report include:

  • Next-Generation Security: The Cato SASE Cloud Platform natively converges SD-WAN with FWaaS, CASB, DLP, and advanced threat prevention for seamless protection.
  • Optimized Multicloud Connectivity: With PoPs co-located in the same datacenters as the major cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure, Cato ensures low-latency, high-performance cloud access.
  • Advanced Application Awareness: Cato identifies and classifies over 11,000 applications, providing granular visibility and control over enterprise traffic.

By excelling in SD-WAN, Cato demonstrates again that its SASE leadership extends beyond broad architecture into critical individual components comprising SASE, offering enterprises a holistic and high-performing solution.

Additionally, GigaOm recognized Cato as a Leader in the 2024 GigaOm Radar Report for Enterprise Firewalls, the only pure-play SASE platform to be recognized as a Leader in the report.

Driving the Future of Secure Networking

Cato’s recent accolades reaffirm its market leadership across SASE, AI-driven security, and SD-WAN. With organizations increasingly seeking a converged, cloud-native SASE platform, Cato’s ability to deliver secure, optimized, and simplified networking at a global scale is proving indispensable. As the cybersecurity landscape evolves, Cato continues to set the standard for the future of secure, cloud-driven enterprises.
