Cato CTRL to reveal how today’s most advanced threat actors bypass even the most robust enterprise defenses 

TEL AVIV, Israel, May 8, 2025 – Cato Networks, the SASE leader, today announced that Etay Maor (chief security strategist at Cato Networks and member of Cato CTRL) and Danna Pelleg (MDR manager at Cato Networks and member of Cato CTRL) will present at HackMiami 2025.  

The session, “From Low Visibility to No Visibility – How Threat Actors Remain Hidden in Plain Sight” (Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 PM ET), will shed light on how modern threat actors bypass even the most layered security defenses.  

Today, enterprises deploy numerous security point solutions in a defense-in-depth strategy, making it increasingly difficult for threat actors to succeed and difficult to manage. Yet, sophisticated threat actors continue to adapt, leveraging advanced evasion methods to remain undetected. The session will take attendees behind the scenes of recent cyberattacks and demonstrate how threat actors manipulate legitimate tools, exploit cloud services, and use obfuscation tactics to stay hidden.
