41 percent see FWaaS as the most promising infrastructure protection technology; 50 percent plan to eliminate hardware in 2017
In the latest survey report from the Cato research team, 700 networking, security and IT executives share their biggest risks, challenges, and planned investments related to network connectivity and security.
Top risks and challenges reported include:
- 50 percent of respondents believe network security as their top security risk
- 44 percent of organizations with more than 1000 employees cite MPLS cost as their biggest challenge; 37 percent of organizations with less than 1000 employees reported the same
- 49 percent are paying a premium to buy and manage security appliances and software

Yishay Yovel, Chief Marketing Officer, directs Cato’s global marketing. Yishay was previously the Vice President, Marketing for Trusteer, a financial fraud and advanced malware protection company, acquired by IBM in 2013. Prior to Trusteer, Yishay was Sr. Director, Product Marketing at Imperva. Yishay has over 25 years of experience in marketing and product management for enterprise software solutions in the areas of security, fraud prevention, storage, and mobile computing. Yishay holds a bachelor degree in Law from Tel Aviv University.
